Culture Shock is apparently something I should have felt already since I’ve been here for about 2 weeks now. But to be honest … I haven’t really felt it. I think the main reason as to why I haven’t felt this sensation is because of my childhood and experience living in a country that can be somewhat considered close in similarity with Costa Rica. In so many ways Nevis and Costa Rica are very similar with the exception of the major language used and the whole toilet paper not going into the toilet situation. Haha. But on a serious note, many students often tend to feel a sense of culture shock while abroad. Culture shock can also lead students into being homing sick if they weren’t already. I just hope that I’m not talking too fast.
