Routines

Here’s what a typical school day in Costa Rica for me looks like:

7 am – 5 alarms have already gone off and I finally realize that it is time for me to get up and get ready for school.

7:25 am – I’ve already showered and gotten dressed.

7:30 am – I’m downstairs having breakfast with my host mom.

7:40 am – I meet my friends at the corner of my street to walk to la U.

8 am – 3:30 pm – I am in three 2 hour classes with an hour lunch break at 12.

4 pm – YAY! It’s nap time. Haha.

6 pm – It’s dinner time con la familia.

7 pm – until – It usually depends on the homework load but after dinner it’s homework time. If the homework load for that night is light, I usually go out with classmates in the night.

And that folks in a typical Costa Rican school day for me. Pura Vida!
